I am so glad you are here! Olympic Place began as a creative escape, a quiet place to slow down and make something meaningful. I fell in love with creating wedding stationery after planning my own- obsessing over texture, typography, and the kind of details that tell a story without saying a word. Now, I get to do that for couples all over, and it’s a dream I don’t take for granted.

I currently live on Camano Island- part of the crumbly, forested edge of the Pacific Northwest — but my work travels far and wide. When I am not designing at my desk with coffee in hand, you can likely find me taking an adventure with my family (husband Tyler and daughter Petra). We love long drives, old houses, open skies, and finding beauty in the simple things.

A Midwest girl at heart, I decided to take the leap and move out west in my early twenties. Finding my feet under me in a new city was fun, but also scary! Working night shifts at the hospital as a nurse and trying to meet new people left me feeling uninspired (not to mention wide awake at all hours of the night).
So, I began to write and soon discovered that stringing words together on the page was inspiring me. Lyrics, quotes, poems, you name it... it was my meditation. I started to hang my work up and soon ended up with a wall full of frames in my tiny studio apartment. I loved that I was able to change them alongside my mood and my dreams and I started sharing my inspiration on my personal instagram account just for fun.

Fast-forward three years, stuck at home in the middle of a pandemic, I decided to do this thing for real and I opened Olympic Place for biz.

The meaning behind the name: My first apartment with my husband was in a quaint, historic building on West Olympic Place in Seattle. We have since moved, but ironically the Olympic mountains have followed me up to Camano Island. We have a view of them from our backyard, and the street we live on Vista Del Monte translates to: "view of the mountains." I think it was fate.
Since I am not originally from the Northwest, I wanted the name to capture my adventurous spirit, a little bit of the PNW vibe, while also noting the
